Special Bill Evans Dance Intensive
Jamestown, Kentucky, June 9 – 11, 2019
Stay in a farmhouse on beautiful Lake Cumberland and immerse yourself in somatic dance for three full days!

9-10:30—Somatic Lab
10:45-12:15—Intermediate Evans Somatic Dance Technique
1:30-2:45—Student-Centered Dance Pedagogy
3:00-4:15—Intermediate/Advanced Evans Modern Dance Repertory
and/or
4:30-5:30—Intermediate Rhythm Tap Dance

Registration fee: $300, if paid on or before May 1. $350 after May 1.

A limited number of rooms are available in a beautiful home on Lake Cumberland, with a lap pool and expansive grounds and views.  Two doubles with twin beds; one queen on 2nd floor; a large lower level room with double bed and twin bed; all with shared bathrooms.  Housing at the farm:  $100 for 3 nights per room.

Lake Cumberland State Resort Park https://parks.ky.gov/parks/resortparks/lake-cumberland also has two lodges and cottages available.

Classes will be at ArtWorks Community Arts Education Center in Jamestown. Woodland Farm and Lake Cumberland State Park are both a short drive away. 
Jamestown is about a 2 ½ hour drive from Nashville International Airport or Louisville International Airport and less than 2 hours from the Lexington Airport.
Participants will need to drive or carpool with another dancer.
